Today's cordless lamps have a programmed microcontroller that monitors, controls, and charges the NIMH battery packs and it also provides dimming functions for the lamp.

And here's some great news. When it comes to savings the NEOZ lamps definitely get a thumbs up costing only about a penny a day to recharge. They say compared to solid fuel burner alternatives you can save more than a $1 a day. That means a savings of $365 a year.
They are easy to maintain requiring little TLC. The long life batteries are good for up to 1000 discharges and charges before you have to replace and the halogen lamps have a long life. Changing the bulbs is quick and easy when the time arrives. The microcontroller never allows for overcharging and the lamps always remain cool to the touch
Candles are certainly beautiful and are a great way to set the ambiance but if you are tired of messing around with dripping wax and the safety element worries you, it's time to invest in some cordless lamps. You can set the ambiance and move it on a whim.
