If you're working at restoring an older country home, lucky you!! Be sure to keep all of the original wood work, fixtures, floors, windows, and even cabinets. You'll be able to do wonders with them unless they are in really rough condition.
If you are decorating a newer home and you want to give it that authentic country feel you can do that too. Here are some ideas for each room to get you started.
1. Country Dining Room
You can probably remember a relative that had a beautiful old oak or walnut table in the dining room. Complete with wonderful wood chairs. Duplicate it! Either go on a hunt for an old table that's similar or buy a modern replica. Then it's time to find that perfect deer chandelier to hang over it.

2. Country Kitchen
A country kitchen should be elegant and calm. Use soft colors on your walls and purchase either antique or reproduction cabinets and plate racks. A wood or stone fireplace looks awesome and a wrought iron or deer chandelier really finishes the décor off nicely.
Wood cabinets or cabinets that look old look great! Use tiles, slate, or marble for your counter tops. Terracotta tiles, stone, or wood look terrific on the floor. Make sure your choice between counters and floors doesn't clash.
A nice maple or pine table is the perfect furniture for a country kitchen. Add a chandelier over the table and you've got a look that can't be beat! Choose a chandelier size that's appropriate for the size of your kitchen and the size of your table. You want it to stand out but you don't want it to be overbearing.
3. Country Bathroom
If you're having difficulty picturing what a country bathroom looks like it's really not that difficult. Think natural so lots of wood, cork, or stone. Metal fixtures especially brass look very good and plain towels rather than patterned add a nice finishing touch.
Toss a wicker basket in the corner, lots of loofahs, an old fashioned claw tub and some antique faucets and you're almost there. All that's left to add is the deer chandelier.
Now if you're thinking a chandelier doesn't belong in the bathroom you couldn't be more wrong! 4. Kids Bedroom
The Kids bedroom is a great place to carry out a country or western theme. Kids raised on the farm or with an interest to the rodeo or horses love doing their rooms up this way!
And a kid's room is very easy to theme. Wood baskets and chest work well. Try oak, maple, or pine. Look for stuffed animals that fit the theme. Horses and even farm animals work great. Use lots of denim, and even old cowboy boots for plant holders And if you really want to add something unique and special to their country décor, choose a deer chandelier. In fact you might also like to add a taxidermy deer or elk head. It really does add the finishing touches! A bear skin or cow hide rug also looks great and you can buy faux ones for a great price.
Master Bedroom
If you want to bring the country to your master bedroom you've got lots of choices. You can do a soft feminine theme with lots of flowers and floral scents as well as floral spreads and curtains and then perhaps a small antler chandelier with teacup candle holders.
Or you can turn your master bedroom into an exotic palace with a bear skin rug, zebra striped drapes, or any type of animal theme and you can add the finishing touches with an exotic deer chandelier. A bear skin rug is very sexy!
