       Italian Chandelier Position home

What's The Best Italian Chandelier Position ?

Chandeliers are a great addition to almost any room's décor and Italian chandeliers are one of the most beautiful choices. So what's the best Italian chandelier position?

Well for those of you looking to add a little spice to your sex life sorry to disappoint you. Yes the Italian chandelier position generally refers to a position that is much like the straight legged reverse cowgirl position but for the details you'll have to search elsewhere. Here's we are going to explain how to get your chandelier positioned to look perfect in your room. Heck you might even be swinging from that chandelier in one of your kinkier evenings but again a topic for another article.

You simply can't go wrong with Italian glass whether it's in your chandelier, your centerpiece, or the vases in your room. It's quality, extremely beautiful, affordable, and has the markings of a master glass blower. It's always going to get noticed!

And if you hang it right it will get noticed even more. There are two components to hanging your chandelier. The overall look and how it lights the room. The light your chandelier provides should make the décor and the room look it's very best, and it should make the people in the room feel their very best. That's why hanging the chandelier at the right height and the right spot is so important to get the impact you want.

    1. When hanging a chandelier over a dining room table there should be 30 inches over the table with an 8 foot ceiling. For every foot over 8 feet add an additional 3 inches to the 30 inches. 2. The correct size of the chandelier is based on the size of the room. Measure your room then add the two numbers together to determine the correct size of chandelier. So a room that measures 12x12 should have a 24 inch chandelier. 3. Choose the correct height for the room. Low ceilings then a 24 to 28 inch chandelier is best. Tall ceilings a chandelier that's 32 inches or more is fine. 4. A chandelier over a dining room table needs to be centered. 5. Never buy a chandelier that's wider than the table. Not only doesn't it look great, it's also annoying for guests as they bump into it. A good size for a chandelier is 12 inches less than the table. So if your table is 50 inches your chandelier shouldn't be more than 38 inches wide. 6. There should be at least 40 inches from every wall edge. 7. The lighting from your chandelier can be unflattering if it casts shadows so be sure to position it to minimize shadows. 8. Watch the bulb size which can create a substantial amount of heat and make guests uncomfortable. Avoid high wattage bulbs. 9. Use a dimmer to control the light and the mood. 10. Use shades to mute the harshness of the lighting. 11. If your chandelier does not have down light consider installing recessed track lighting in the area to assist the lighting over a table. 12. Chandeliers used in entrances or lobbies provide a transition from outside to inside and set the mood. Place the chandelier about knee level on the upstairs landing and high enough to provide good illumination on the stairs. 13. Entrance chandeliers can be a lot larger than dining room chandeliers. Allow 7 feet clearance from the floor. 13. A pendant chandelier used in a kitchen island should be placed 30 to 34 inches from the island top. 14. You can add a touch of elegance to the chain or wire of your chandelier by dressing it up with fabric, ribbon, or a host of other coverings.

Most chandeliers are quite heavy and they can be very tricky to hang. It's a good idea to hire a professional to install it for you. It could save you hours of stress and anxiety and it could even save you an injury or two from pulled muscles or a slip.

Italian chandeliers are one of the most beautiful chandeliers you can add to your home! These tips will help provide the best position for your new chandelier.
