Can be used to replace any incandescent bulb of similar size and shape. The CFL can provide the same level of light as an incandescent bulb at ¼ of the cost and they last about ten times longer.
5. Decorative Lamps
These come in all shapes and sizes including the very popular candle shaped bulbs and the round globes. There are also flames, bent tips, crystals, and silver bowls and of course there are a variety of colors to choose from.
6. Flood or Spot Lights
Used for yard lighting as well as stage lighting and a number of other purposes. Available in different shapes, sizes, wattages, and colors.
7. LED Bulbs
Are for exit signs and a few other commercial uses. Please check your manufacturer's information for the correct size bulb for your fixture.
8. UV Lamps
These are fluorescent lamps that emit UV rays. There are at least six different phosphors emitted. The BLB is one of the most common lamps producing a medium to long UVA wavelength and short violet wavelengths. Be sure you understand what UV lamp you require before replacing.
